Small Group Bible Studies
Our Small Group Bible Studies function as the “heart-beat” for many at GKP. It is an excellent way to get to know others better, and it serves as many people’s favourite way of digging deeper into the Bible. Within our small groups, people learn to share their lives by praying for one another, by reading and discussing various parts of the Bible together, and through having fun! We invite you to join a GKP Small Group Bible Study that suits you.
Indonesian Bible Studies (IBS) – for STUDENTS:
IBS groups meet on the UNSW campus at various times and locations during the university session. Many of these groups are student-led, and give Indonesian students at UNSW the opportunity before, in between, or after lectures to read-discuss-learn “small portions” of the Bible together within one-hour!!! It is for Indonesian Christians and their friends – you don’t need to belong to GKP to come!
If you want to join, please meet at Level 2 Science Theatre. The following are the time slots for IBS for this session (2010, semester 1):
- Monday, 10:00 – 11:00 AM
- Tuesday, 12:00 – 1:00 PM
- Wednesday, 11:00 – 12:00 PM
- Wednesday, 1:00 – 2:00 PM
- Thursday, 11:00 – 12:00 PM
- Thursday, 1:00 – 2:00 PM
- Friday, 1:00 – 2:00 PM

Graduate Bible Studies – for WORKERS & GRADUATES:
GKP is mainly a student church, but there are many graduates and workers who continue to serve and benefit from belonging to GKP. Although graduates continue to face many of the same issues and concerns as students, the Graduate small group bible studies provide an opportunity to be encouraged and to work out together how to apply practically God’s word in day-to-day family and work life.

Thursdays At Ten (TAT) – for MUMS:
The mothers at GKP meet together with other mothers from FOCUS, each Thursday morning at 10am – 12pm, at St Matthias Anglican Church, Paddington. If you are a mother, TAT is a precious way of being encouraged by other mums, and an invaluable opportunity to be able to take time-out to be reminded of the “bigger” things in life! During our bible study, there is a creche available for children below school-age.
