Christmas in August

Christmas in August 2008

One day, A snowman meets God on snowy day. Then suddenly the snowman asks God a question, or rather a set of questions.

Snowman:   Why did they name the Christmas’ baby “Jesus”?
What does it mean?

God:   Come, i’ll tell you as i’ve been telling everyone.
‘She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins. “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel”
(which means, God with us)’
– Mat 1:21,23

Snowman:   So confusing…
Oh well, whateva!!
I like Christmas, but I don’t think Jesus has anything to do with it and with me.

God:   Are you sure?

“Are you sure?” is not just a question for the snowman, but for all of us.
“Is Christmas only on December?”
